Ihave a p1229 code. Engine system fault. and gearbox fault Car will start but won't accelerate.. I've changed the throttle body and still same problem. The car was running and working great but I happened to. change the valve cover gaskets so had to unplug some. sensors and the position sensor connector broke and left.

There have been reported issues with water entering the TCM, as well as transmission oil leaks causing the Gearbox Fault to show up. A Jaguar service tool will be necessary to scan the codes in the transmission
