š Gta San Andreas Save Game Not Working
I bought a brand new PC version and installed it on my computer. It installed fine, and I started to play it. Then I went to save the game after the first mission. When I walked into the disk in CJ's house to save the game and tried to save, it said it failed and there was an error.
EditL I can load that save after loading another one made at a different safehouse before the last date with Katie. The first save is at teh San Fierro garage. Tried loading the broken save and overwriting it with another at the same safehouse as the working one and still crashing when loaded from the title screen. 2.
Game crashes in some parachute mission. Missions: 1- parachute part in the flight school. 2- dam and blast. What to do: remove your draw distances mod.

I had your issue with vice city. I fixed it by disabling cloud saves. I went to my San Andreas game save folder in C:\Users\ [username]\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition\Profiles\ [somenumber]. I deleted two files the 2CD7C854.dat and cloudsavedata.dat. Then when I restarted the game I said no to cloud saves.
Basically, you are correct. PS2v1 saves are not compatible with the new versions. If you are a very skilled programmer it is technically possible to translate a PS2 save from v1 to v2; there are working tools for converting PC saves. A PS2 version would need to do the same thing plus move all the global variables to the new location.
as title says is anybody working on a grand theft auto: san andreas save editor? iām looking to do cash and ammo ect. i done a spot of searching yesterday and found a few x360 SE but they didnt seem to work or read my extracted save from horizon. im with you though i hope someone releases one soon
